Event Registration and Exhibitor Lead Gathering

Xpodx is a registration system used for badge making on-site at expositions,
trade shows, conferences, and seminar events.  The system will support up to
32 terminals and 16 special badge printers to print name tags for arriving
guests, exhibitors, staff, and members of the press.  The system also supports
hundreds of bar code scanners, used by the event's exhibitors and seminar
presenters, to read the badges worn by the guests and produce individual name,
address, and telephone lists for them.  The registration system may be used
with or without the bar code scanners.  The program is easy to use requiring
about two hours to train the temporary employees who use them at the events.
It has been in existence since 1986, and on SCO UNIX since 1990, working
hundreds of events (about 30 per year) such as Merisel SofTeach, Data Base
World, CASE World, and the Show Biz Expo to name a few.  It is available now
as a service, or after further development, as a vehicle for business
opportunity in the near future.  Xpodx has single-handedly introduced SCO UNIX
to countless people.
